Born from a love of skiing, snowboarding, and the creative process behind each ride, Conspiracy Board Sports is a community-driven brand focused on craftsmanship and connection. The team approached Nelson & Neiss to bring clarity and strategy to their identity — developing a brand system that balances the grit of mountain culture with the elegance of thoughtful design.

Brief

Conspiracy Board Sports is an independent brand that blends the culture of extreme sports with environmental and artistic integrity. Founded by an avid skier and snowboarder in his mid-20’s, the goal was to design a brand that captures the name of the brand “Conspiracy,” and the connection between riders, their equipment, and the creative process behind the maintenance of every board.


Challenge

The challenge was to create a brand that stood apart from typical outdoor or sports retailers by focusing not on mass production, but on personalization and purpose. Conspiracy needed to communicate craftsmanship, artistry, and sustainability while appealing to both serious athletes and culture-driven riders.


Solution

We developed a full visual identity and creative direction inspired by the brand’s core values: Connection Inspiration, and Sustainability. The brand’s tone balances rebellion with refinement; a nod to the DIY roots of board sports and the precision of modern craftsmanship. The logo system, iconography, and textures reference vintage alien and counterculture design, paired with clean, modern typography for versatility across digital and print applications.
